Jean (Lapre) Souza. Age 78. Wife of the late George Souza. Residence 2035 Jessica Ln., Prince Frederick, MD, formerly of 1 Sandy Ln., Assonet,MA. Died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005 at the Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, MD. Born in Fall River,MA. Daughter of the late Arthur Lapre and the late Mabel (Moreau) Lapre. She was a resident of Assonet for 18 years,then resided in Maryland for 5 years. Before retiring in 1989, she worked in the garment industry and for Raytheon as a circuit boards assembler for 13 years. She was a former member of St. Bernard Church, Assonet.
She is survived by One Daughter: Barbara J. Drumm of Prince Frederick, MD. One Sister: Jeannette Ferdoryzh of Buzzards Bay, MA. Three Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Raymond Lapre and Dorothy Lawton.
Her Private graveside services, following Cremation, will take place Thursday at 11:30 A.M. in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. There are no calling hours.
