Harry H. Pierce, 92, passed away Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Harrison County Hospital. Born in Leitchfield he was a retired chemical operator for B.F. Goodrich, an Army veteran of Korea , a devout catholic, he was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Jane” (Higdon) Pierce and sister, Mildred Nunnlley.
Survivors include his children, Aaron Pierce (Teri), David “Dewey” Pierce (Susan) and Carmen Luckett; sisters and brother; Audrey Durbin, Margaret Nell Reber and Rex Glen Pierce; six grandchildren; Adam, Josh, Jenna, Hannah, Jane and Jack; seven great-grandchildren.
His funeral mass will be11 am Thursday at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Paynesville, Ky. with burial at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 3 pm to 8 pm Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; and 9am to 11 am at the church on Thursday.
