WORCESTER - Marie E. (Brady) Halloran, 86, of 136 Dewey Street died Sunday June 2 in UMASS Memorial - University Campus after an illness.
Her husband William J. Halloran Jr. died in 1986. She leaves three sons William J. Halloran III of Port Isabel, TX, John A. Halloran and Dennis P. Halloran both of Worcester; three grandsons. She is predeceased by a sister Loretta A. McQueeney. She was born in Worcester daughter of William J. and Celina (Brouillette) Brady.
Mrs. Halloran worked for the City of Worcester's School Department for over 15 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and its Womens Guild.
The funeral will be held on Friday June 7 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.ROYFUNERAL.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 11 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church 555 Pleasant Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are on Thursday June 6 from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Restoration Fund 551 Pleasant Street Worcester, MA 01602 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
