Eula B. Smith, 78, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 12, 2005 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. John Forbes and Rev. Robbie McDearmid officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born one of ten children on March 1, 1927, in Randolph County, Alabama to the late Lee Hoyt and Lola Becky Runnels Spradlin. She had lived in Ben Hill & Irwin Counties most of her life. She was a homemaker and a former nurse’s aid at Colony Home and Life Care Center. Mrs. Smith was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her ten children: Bobby Joe Wiggins of Fitzgerald, Thomas Ray Reaves of Waynesville, Glenda Giddens of Fitzgerald, Vicki C. Branam of Brunswick, Gene H. Reaves of Fitzgerald, Virginia Wright of Ocilla, Gelene Spradlin, Betty Spradlin, Buck Reaves, and Bud Reaves, all of Fitzgerald; thirty-five grandchildren; fifty-seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jane Holloway of Randolph County, AL. She was preceded in death by her two husbands: Thomas Damon Reaves and Grady W. Smith.
