Giovanni "John" Battista Petruzzo, 38, was called home to his Lord and Savior at his home in North Carolina.
Giovanni was born January 7,1979 in Buffalo, New York and lived in North Carolina.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He lived his life to the fullest, full of life and love for his family.
He is survived by his parents Mario and Carmela (Palmieri) Petruzzo of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. His sisters Adelina Mitchell and her husband Adam of Norfolk and Gilda Lee and her husband Keith of Milford.
He is also survived by his nieces, Gabriella, Melina and Adriana Mitchell; had his four nephews Alexander, Mario, Keith and William Lee and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the U.S. and Paternopoli, Italy.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Antonio and Gilda Palmieri and paternal grandparents Giovanni Battista and Adelina Petruzzo.
His funeral will be held on Monday, April 3 in St. Joseph Church, Village Street, Medway at 11:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
Visitation will be on Monday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway.
