Filomena “Phylis” DiMartino, age 95, of Auburn, NH for the past four years formerly of Medford, MA for seventy years, passed away September 7th following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic DiMartino. Born in Italy she was the daughter of the late Nicola (D´Evoli) and Dominic Siraco.
Phylis was a retired employee of the Boston Five Bank where she worked for a number of years in the mortgage dept. She was devoted to her friends and family and enjoyed cooking for and entertaining her family.
Phylis is survived by her devoted children, Angela DelOrfano of Pelham, NH, Dorothy Filteau of Auburn, NH and Bob DiMartino of Plymouth, MA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is predeceased by her sister, Rose Gioisa, and brothers, Joseph and Frank Siraco.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Monday, at 10 AM. Followed by funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 7. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
