In Taunton, March 26, 2017 Evelyn L. (Rosa) Grabarz 93, passed peacefully at Morton Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Marshall) Rosa. She had six siblings: Edna, Louise, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Jeannette and Joe Jr. (Sonny). In 1978 her husband Peter suddenly passed away. He was the love of her life and she has missed him for 39 years. In younger years, Evelyn enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for her family. She took pride in her immaculate home, loved fresh cut lilacs, wearing rosewater perfume and said her prayers daily. Evelyn retired from Swanks in Attleboro. Evelyn had been residing at Marion Manor, her family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff for the outstanding, compassionate care she received. She leaves her devoted son Richard Grabarz of Raynham, her granddaughter Laurie Koss of Taunton, her grandson Timothy Grabarz of Raynham and twin great grandsons Nicholas and Thomas Koss of Taunton. All but one sibling have predeceased her except for one sister Jeannette Wilson. Evelyn will be buried alongside her beloved husband Pete at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
