Stella Joan (Sullivan) Reff, 89, of Anderson died at her daughter's residence after an extended illness.
She was born April 6, 1927 in Anderson to Edward Sullivan and Irene (Johnson)
Detty-Jones.
She owned Jo's Beauty Shop for 6 years; worked part time at St. John's and Community Hospitals in the dietary department and sold Avon.
She attended East Lynn Christian Church.
She loved yardwork, crocheting afghans, watching sports on T. V and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Jim) Atwell and her son, Bob (Darla) Closser all of Anderson; four grandchildren, Tami Atwell of Anderson; Tawni (Brad) Dedman of Murfreesboro, TN; Zachary Closser of Florida; Richard Closser (fiancée Sara Hullinger) of Mountainview, CA; great grandchildren, Davie Closser, Gideon Closser and Henley Dedman.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Irene & Joe Detty; first husband, Richard Reff, second husband, Myron Vanderbur and third husband, Robey Reff in 2005; sister, Jean Robbins and brother Ed Sullivan.
Service will be held at noon on Thursday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor David Reames of Madison Park Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the service at noon Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
