Visitation will be held Thursday evening, Septmeber 8, 2005, at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home Friday, September 9, 2005, at 10:00 am with Bro. Ken Izzard presiding.
Mrs. Surrette was born to the late Lee and Beulah Bevels Shearer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sylva Rena Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Beulah Shearer, her step-father, Luther Blount, and her husband George C. Surrrette (October 27, 1997). She is survived by six sons, Murray Surrette of Oxford, MS, Butch Surrette of Water Valley, MS, Morris Surrette of Water Valley, MS, Joe Surrette of Grenada, MS, John Surrette of Pontotoc, MS, and Kevin Surrette of Conyers, GA; 22 Grandchildren, and 24 Great-granchildren.
