Obituary

BRIDGEWATER - Stephen L. Hamilton, 52, of Bridgewater, formerly of Revere, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a sudden illness. He was the husband of Ann Marie "Mimi" (McDonough) Hamilton.

Born in Boston, a son of Henry J. Hamilton and the late Davida (Madoff) Hamilton, he grew up in Revere and graduated from Revere High School, Class of 1971.

Mr. Hamilton was employed with Met Life as a life insurance consultant for 32 years.

He was an avid sportsman and was a former softball coach for Bridgewater Girl's Softball.

Mr. Hamilton had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 20 years.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his son and daughters, Adam, Jillian and Ashley Hamilton, all of Bridgewater; his sister and brothers, Cyndi Evans of Revere, Michael of Lynn, Allan of Reading and Bryan of Revere; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

His funeral will be held from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Monday at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, at 9 a.m.

Visiting hours are Sunday 4-8 p.m.

Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Revere High School Athletic Dept., 101 School St., Revere, MA.
