Vera Pauline Margaret Page born June 11th 1937 died March 7th 2017 passed away from cancer. Vera leaves behind two sisters six children eight grandchildren twelve great grandchildren many nieces and nephews. Surviving sisters are Grace Johnson and Edith Moser. Her children David and Vicky Page , Sherrie and Woody Gerrish, Ann Marie Smith Page, Edward and Laura page, Sadie and Tracy Lemay, and Carrie Page. Vera was part of the Salvation Army for 40 plus years and also volunteered her time with the Salvation Army's home League. She volunteered at The Root Cellar in Portland a food pantry and soup kitchen. Vera had a very witty personality about her, she loves to travel often jumping trains traveling from place to place with no set destination in mind. She had a passion for CB radios and scanners you never knew what was going to come out of her mouth to those truckers she kept them laughing while they were on the road we will miss her dearly so in the words of our beloved Vera this is spitfire over and out.
A celebration of Vera's life will be held at the Salvation Army at 297 Cumberland Ave Portland Maine at 1:30 Monday afternoon March 13, 2017
