Ilene M. Bartlett, 69, of Derry, NH died Friday, September 2, 2005 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. Mrs. Bartlett was born in Ottumwa, IA on February 12, 1936 a daughter of the late Lorne and Wilma (Wallace) Leeling. She was raised in Ottumwa before moving to southern New Hampshire in 1959. She had resided in Derry for the past 35 years. Prior to her illness she was self-employed as an upholstery seamstress. She was involved in activities at the Derry Senior Center.
She is survived by two sons, Albert “Al” L. Fitzgerald of Londonderry, Kevin Bartlett of Manchester, a daughter, Kae (Fitzgerald) Cunningham of Epsom, NH, four grandchildren, one sister, Donna Moore of Windham, NH, also several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Tuesday, September 6th from 6 to 8 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A remembrance ceremony was held at 7:30 PM during the calling hours.
