Tiverton, RI – Frank Holt, Jr., 88, of Tiverton died Friday, September 02, 2005 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Leona (Motta) Holt.
He was born in Fall River, son of the late Frank Holt, Sr. and the late Lilly (Bradshaw) Holt, and had resided in Tiverton for most of his life. He served his country during WWII in the United States Army receiving the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon with Bronze Service Arrow. Prior to his retirement in 1973 he worked for Newport Underwater Naval Base. He was a member of the Liberal Club, Fall River. Mr. Holt enjoyed fishing and fixing lawn mowers, but most of all loved spending time with his family.
Including his widow, he is survived by a son: Bruce Holt of Tiverton; a sister: Doris Fasho of Swansea; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Sarah McMahon.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Calling hours Monday 4 – 7 P.M.
Interment will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
