Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman Church) at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Julia T. (DeStito) Celidonio died Thursday morning at the Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Frank DeStito and Rose (Buccina) DeStito Catrambone. She had been a resident of Brockton for most of her life. After raising her daughters she worked in the garment industry for Picento Sportswear in Brockton.
She was a longtime member of the Brockton Senior Citizens Center and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was an active communicant of St. Colman Church and a former member of the Ladies Sodality. She enjoyed cooking, needlework and home decorating.
She is survived by two daughters Louise A. Celidonio and her partner Tisha Kalberer both of New York City and Rita R. Anderson and her husband William of Oakland, CA, two grandsons Peter and Thomas Anderson, one brother Joseph Catrambone, one sister Mary St. John both of Brockton and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara Lehane.
