BRIDGEWATER - Richard Ghelfi II, 45, of Bridgewater died unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, at his home.
Born Jan. 12, 1960, in Brockton, he was the son of Richard Ghelfi Sr. of Quincy and the late Gloria (Deeg) Ghelfi.
Mr. Ghelfi was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School, Class of 1978.
He was a lifelong resident of Bridgewater and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.
In addition to his father, he is survived by three daughters, Alexandria Bruno of Hollywood, Fla., and Erica Ghelfi and Sara Ghelfi, both of New Hampshire; two sisters, Faith Ann Machado of East Bridgewater and Susan Maria Kent of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and his former wife, Rebecca (Mahtesian) Ghelfi.
His funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Tuesday from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be Monday 4-8 pm.
