Obituary

Steven H. Lewis
1939-2005

Steven H. Lewis died in his home on Sunday, August 29, 2005. He had
lived for nearly 7 years with ALS, continuing many of the activities
that he enjoyed and excelled at throughout his life. His wife of 43 years, Martha, and his children, Andrew, Jennifer, David, and Sarah, all
remember him dearly and the many things he shared with them. Steven's four grandchildren and extended family and friends have also felt the impact of Steven in their lives and will gather for a memorial service on Saturday, September 10th, 2005 at 11 am. at the Parish of the Epiphany, Winchester, MA.
After 34 years of service to the National Park Service, Steven
volunteered as a consultant to non-profits with the Executive Service
Corps. He served the town of Winchester in many roles with groups
such as the Conservation Commission, Interfaith Housing Borad, and boards of the North Suburban YMCA, Spectrum Singers, and was active with the Winchester Seniors Association.
Steven was passionate about books, music, and art and was a runner,
swimmer, and kayaker. He was actively involved in the community of the Parish of the Epiphany, serving faithfully in many roles there, too. He lived his life with enthusiasm, integrity and courage, and inspired others with his accepting, honest, and determined nature.

Donations may be made in Steve's honor to any of the following organizations, or any of your choice:
ALS Association, MA Chapter, ALSTDF, or Parish of Epiphany Music Fund.
