Sister of Frederick Twomey of Bourne. She also leaves 14 grandchildren.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8pm.

Alice M. Cashin, 69 years, a long time resident of Brockton, recently of Avon, CT, died Saturday morning at the University of Connecticut Medical Center, Farmington, CT after a brief illness. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Frederick R. and Grace M. (Mullins) Twomey. She attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1951 and received her college degree from Massasoit Community College in 1987 when she returned to College after raising her children. She was employed for many years as a Teachers Aide in the Brockton Elementary School System and later worked as an administrative assistant at Brockton High School. Before her retirement she was an assistant to the late William O’Malley at the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office. She loved time spent at Cape Cod and had been a resident of Mashpee and Falmouth for 10 years before moving to Connecticut. She loved sunset walks at the Cape, crocheting, knitting and time spent with her grandchildren. She loved to celebrate the joys of family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by 3 sons, John “Jack” Cashin of Brockton, Paul Cashin of Plymouth and James Cashin of Franklin, and 3 daughters Susan Munnelly of Bellingham, Kathleen Pitts of Avon, CT and Eileen Cashin of Boston.14 GrandchildrenSeveral nieces and nephews1 brother Frederick Twomey of Bourne, MAShe was the mother of the late Phillip Cashin and sister of the late John “Jack” Twomey
