Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 7:30am. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church at 8:30am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery at 10:45am. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Obituary Information
Mr. Linehan died unexpectedly Monday morning at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born and raised in Dorchester, he was the son of the late John J. and Anna (Buckley) Linehan. He was a graduate of Boston English High School, and graduated from Boston College, Class of 1949, with a degree in Business Administration. In 1994 Mr. Linehan retired from Abington Mutual Insurance Company. During the Korean War he served in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Loeser. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Seville Council 93, Holy Name Society, Cub Master of Pac 74 in Brockton, Past President of Brockton South Little League, he had been a long time communicant of St. Margaret Church while living in Brockton. He was an avid bowler and golfer, a member of Little Harbor Country Club in Wareham. For many years Mr. Linehan summered in Onset and spent the winters in Brooksville FL.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret M. (Moynihan) Linehan
