Ashley Keith Silva, 21, of New Bedford died Sunday August 28, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Albert Silva and Kerry Capello, both of New Bedford, he had lived in Seattle, Wash., for many years and had lived in New Jersey for two years before returning to New Bedford three years ago.
Mr. Silva was formerly employed as a clerk for Day Top Village in Manhattan. He received his Diploma in Business from County Prep in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Survivors include his parents; his stepmother, Donna Silva of New Bedford; his stepfather, Manuel Rebeiro of New Bedford; five brothers, Kobey Capello, Camryn Capello, Ebony Silva, Alexis Silva and William Silva, all of New Bedford; two sisters, Mahogany Silva and Rael Silva, both of New Bedford; his grandparents, Arnold and Nancy Capello, Laurianna Capello, and Albertina Silva, all of New Bedford; his great-grandmother, Julia Gilbert of New Bedford; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday September 1, 2005 at 8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM, prior to the Funeral Service.
