Obituary

James P. Mosher, 62, a Medway resident for the past 8 years, died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Boston on November 2, 1954, he was the son of the late Daniel and Rhelda (Walters) Mosher.

Mr. Mosher grew up in Millis and graduated from Millis High School.

He had worked as a painter and trucker driver for many years and also worked in lawn irrigation for ten years.

Mr. Mosher was an avid NASCAR and New England Patriots fan and also enjoyed listening to country music and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Mosher of South Yarmouth, his granddaughter Hannah Mosher, his siblings, John Mosher and his wife Linda of New Hampshire, Dixie Mosher-Hill and her husband John of Hanson, Paul Mosher and his wife Peggy of Ashby, Charlie Mosher and his wife Michelle of Millis, Donald Mosher of Medway, Denise Mosher and her longtime companion Michael Sanford of California and Dorothy Toubeau of Medway and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend Shawna Midkiff of Medway, her daughter Paula Locke and grandsons, Zachary Steigler and Ethan Howe.

He was the brother of the late Deborah Galvin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Friday, February 10 from 3 – 6 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
