Claire C. Wilkins, 75, of Manchester, died May 30, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Born in Berlin, NH, May 6, 1927, she was one of 14 children of the late Dr. Alexandre and Antoinette (LaBlonde) Berube. She had been a Manchester resident the past 31 years.
She worked for Merchants Bank 10 years. She later worked in various departments for the state of NH, among them the Welfare and Legal Assistance Departments. She most recently worked for Prime Time.
She was a loving, kind and thoughtful person who always put the needs of her family and friends first.
Family members include a daughter, Ann Marie Jordon of Goffstown; a son, Guy Wilkins of Manchester; 4 grandchildren; 5 sisters, Florence Donnelly of Florida, Doris Carrier of Manchester, Priscilla Desilets of Berlin, Marcelle Benz of Florida, and Jacqueline Bergeron of Hooksett; 2 brothers, Armand Berube of Manchester, and Rudolph Berube of Claremont; many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday June 3,2002 in St. Anne Church. Encryptment was in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
