Lillian V. (Elia) Pallotta, of Stoneham, died Sunday surrounded by a loving family, at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 72.
Lillian was born and raised in Boston’s West End, the daughter of the late Vangel and the late Alexandra (Logo) Elia. Lillian and her husband of 54 years, Anthony, evetually moved to Somerville and Medford before settling in Stoneham 33 years ago.
A dedicated wife and mother, Lillian enjoyed the company of family and friends. She was an active parishoner at St. Patrick’s in Stoneham.
She was the beloved wife of Anthony “Cosmo” Pallotta. She was a devoted mother to Anthony S. Pallotta and his wife Ann Marie of Baltimore, MD, Michael J. Pallotta of Stoneham and Stephen J. Pallotta of Redondo Beach, CA. She was a loving grandmother to Joseph, Edmund and his wife Shawna and their children Colleen and Sean. She was a dear sister to Elizabeth Logan and Harry Elia of Medford, the late Elsie Favuzza, Violet Andon, Sophie Racuzzo, Alex Elia and Michael Elia.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 4 - 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Funeral Mass will be offerd at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham, Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
