John J. Corso, of Dedham formerly of West End, Boston, died August 26, 2005 at the Epoch Healthcare in Norton. He was 91. Mr. Corso was born in Boston and was the son of the late Augustino and Anna (DeBlasi) Corso. He owned and operated the C & M Food Store in the West End. Mr. Corso was a Dedham resident for 40 years.
He was the beloved husband of the late Camille (LoGuidice) Corso.
He was the devoted father of John J. Corso of Honolulu, Hawaii, Joanne C. DeLapa and her husband Anthony of Westwood, Joseph J. Corso of Carlsbad, CA, Corinne Niedringhaus of Norton, and the late Janine Corso. He was the brother of Tillie Farretra of Boston, Theresa Grey of VA, Nini White of Boston, Eva Consolo of Melrose, and the late Angelina DeBenedictis, Myra Zucco, Jerry Bishop, Josephine McLeroy, Joseph Corso and Marguerite Corso. Mr. Corso was also the grandfather of 12 grandchildren and the great grandfather of 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Tuesday at 9:00 am. Funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 pm. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
