Daniel Luther Fedric, Sr ,age 82, of Charleston, MS, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at Tallahatchie Extended Care Facility in Charleston after a lengthy illness.
Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Saturday, August 27 at the First United Methodist Church in Charleston. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the church with burial in the Charleston Cemetery.
Dan was the son of the late Dan R. and Florrie Fedric of Charleston and is survived by his wife, Rae Staten Fedric of Charleston; two sons, Dan L. Fedric, Jr. and his wife, Kay of Jacksonville Beach, FL, and Lee,H. Fedric and his wife, Linda of Hattiesburg; one daughter, Liz Reynolds and her husband, Tommy of Water Valley; two step-sons, Dr. Ron Staten and his wife Becky of Ashland, KY, and Gary Staten and his wife Carla of Houston, MS; one brother, Dudley D. Fedric of Clarksdale, MS; and six grandchildren.
Dan Luther was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Houston Fedric, of Charleston; and a brother, Paul Fedric of Grenada.
He was a former farmer and restaurant owner, but was most noted for his love of duck hunting. Memorials may be made to the Tallahatchie Extended Care Facility in Charleston, MS.
