Edward Earl Strange, age 74, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2005, in Baptist Memorial Hospital N MS at Oxford, MS. Mr. Strange was born in Boonville, MS to the late Mr. D. Kress Strange and Mrs. Gertrude Brassel Strange of Coffeeville, MS. He was a truck driver for McNeer Timber Company, a member of the Community Full Gospel Assembly of God Church and served in the Korean War in the United States Navy.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 24, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Thursday at 2:00 pm in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. C. H. Newcomb officiating. Interment will be in Broadstreet Cemetery in Yalobusha County.
Survivors are: wife, Josephine Strange of Coffeeville, MS : two daughters, Brenda Eubanks of Coffeeville, MS and Jane Percell of Oxford, MS: one sister, Reba Branson of Coffeeville, MS : six grandchildren, Edward , Chad and Michelle Eubanks, April Carlton, Kristi Hagan and Todd Percell : six Great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Madison Eubanks, Miriam and Milsayla Carlton, Emalee and Roy Hagan.
In addition to his father, Mr. Strange was preceded in death by one son, Steven Strange on July 28, 1992.
