Leona N. Morgan, 91, of Derry, NH, passed away Saturday January 7, 2017, in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on March 10, 1925, a daughter of the late Francis and Josephine (Mikelski) Novack, and had been a resident of Derry since 1967. Leona was employed as a department manager at Montgomery Ward in Bedford, NH. She enjoyed needlepoint and baking, especially around the holidays.
She is survived by her son, Nelson Morgan of Derry, one sister, Dolores Novack Carnegie of NC, one brother, Joseph Ronald Novack of PA, as well as several nieces and nephews. Leona was predeceased by her husband Millard Morgan in 1996.
