Stephen A. “Mooney” Casale age 61 of Canton passed away at home January 6th. Born in Boston, he was raised in Mattapan and graduated from Hyde Park High School and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He has lived in Canton for many years and was a longtime employee of Polaroid Corporation before retiring. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. Beloved brother of Claire M. Joyce and her husband, Michael, of Canton; Deborah A. Costa and her husband, Edward, of Bridgewater; Walter J. Casale Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Rockland; Michael Casale and Ruthann O’Brien and her husband, Neil, all of Canton; and James A. Casale and his wife, Christine, of Wakefield. Son of the late Ruth M. (Lawless) and Walter J. Casale. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.
