WEBSTER – David D. “Little Oak” Prince, 43, of 9 East Main St., died Sunday, August
21, in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Belmont St., Worcester.
He leaves 2 daughters, Melissa J. Prince of Southbridge and Jessica J. and her husband Sean C. Bergeron of Maryland; a son, David D. Prince II of Oxford; as if his own, Tanya A. Cason of Worcester; a brother, Glen H. Prince in Florida; a half-brother, Bobby Prince of Worcester; 3 grandchildren, Shane Z. Dolan, Lexianna N. Wheeler, and Jayton S. Bergeron; and his former wife, Donna J. (Ricciardi) Gagne of Oxford. He was predeceased by a half-brother, Daniel J. Prince, Jr. of Worcester in 1987.
He was born in Worcester and raised in Oxford, a son of the late Daniel J. Prince, Sr. and Dorothy G. (Morse) Prince. He lived in Oxford for most of his life, moving to Webster in 1997. He graduated from Oxford High School in 1979.
A carpenter, Mr. Prince worked for several local contractors.
He was an Episcopalian, a Nipmuck indian, and an associate member of the TSKK. He was known for his good sense of humor and his love of people.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 24, at 8:00 PM in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM that evening. Burial will be private.
