
Sutton- Ryszard Gaska, 58, of 149 Eight Lots Road, died Saturday, August 20, in UMass-Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 35 years, Anna (Szydlik) Gaska; two sons, Michael S. Gaska of Sutton and Krzysztof Gaska of Webster; his mother, Genowefa (Wachowska) Gaska of Poland; two brothers, Tadeusz Gaska and Jan Gaska, both of Worcester; three sisters, Irena Mielnicka, Teresa Minenska, and Krystyna Zboraska, all of Worcester; three grandchildren, Jacob G. Gaska of Grafton, Derek M. Gaska of Webster, and Veronica A. Gaska of Webster; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henryk and Zofia (Grzyb) Szydlik of Worcester; nephews and nieces. He was born in Nowe Wierzchowo, Poland, son of the late Marian Gaska, and lived in Worcester before moving here 20 years ago.
Mr. Gaska was a truck driver for Aggregate Company, Grafton, for 11 years, and was still working at the time of his death.
He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, Worcester, and the Teamsters Union Local 170.
The funeral will be held Thursday, August 25, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, in the funeral home.
