Obituary

Paxton--Rose Sogigian, 85, formerly of Worcester and Paxton, passed
away on August 21, 2005, in The Odd Fellows Home.

Rose was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George and
Agavne (Boghosian) Sogigian and graduated from
Commerce High School. She had worked for the former Wright Machine
Corporation and Denholm & McKay Department
Store, and retired from Peoples Savings Bank several years ago.
She also volunteered much of her time to the VNA.

Rose was a longtime member of The Armenian Church of
Our Saviour, where she was a Sunday School
superintendent and teacher for many years, she also
was a volunteer for many of the church's groups and
activities.

Rose leaves a brother, Harry Sogigian of Worcester, a nephew, 2 nieces, and 2 grandnieces. A sister, Margaret, predeceased her.

The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday,
August 24 in The Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87
Salisbury St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. There
are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to The Armenian Church of
Our Saviour, Sunday School Fund, 87 Salisbury St.
Worcester, MA 01609. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300
Lincoln St. is directing arrangements.
