Miss C. Louise Patenaude, of Taunton, died Saturday, December 31 in the Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, following a period of failing health. She was born 89 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Menard) Patenaude. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident, residing recently in the Brookside Assisted Living Center in Centerville. Prior to her retirement, Louise had been employed at Eureka Manufacturing in Taunton for 49 years. She participated in crafting at Colonial Estates in Taunton. She enjoyed making prayer shawls for Our Lady of Victory Parish in Centerville, knitting and spending time with her 4 generations of nieces and nephews. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
She leaves 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and a number of greatnieces and greatnephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Thursday, January 5 at 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will be held prior to the funeral, Thursday, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M.
