Bonita M. “Bonnie” Sacco, of Medford, died Friday. She was 49. A longtime Medford resident, Bonnie was a graduate of North Shore Community College and earned a Bachelorate Degree from Leslie University. An ardent advocate for animal’s rights, Bonnie was a talented cook, patron of the fine arts and an advocate for women’s issues.
She was a cherished daughter of Carl A. and Ann (Hardy) Sacco of Reading. She was a beloved sister to Carl Sacco and his wife Lee of Maine, Steven Sacco of Rochester, Nancy Sacco and her partner James Tams of Lynn, Jayne Sacco and her husband John Buckner of Magnolia, John Sacco and his wife Tina of Beverly. She was a loving aunt to Matthew, Jessica, Helaina, Peter, Sean and Edward.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday evening, August 24, at 6:15 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Wednesday 4 thru 7 PM. Interment private.
