Sheila Louise Faulkner Powers, 51, of Ocilla passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Ms. Powers will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, December 30, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Alan Cason, Casey Carper, Shane Pierce and Toby O’Neal will be among those serving as pallbearers.
Born October 9, 1965 in Tift County, Ms. Powers was the daughter of the late Edward Faulkner and Helen Virginia Pitts Withers. She was a homemaker.
Ms. Powers is survived by two sons, John L. Powers, III and Chris Powers, both of Tifton; and one sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Don Cox of Ocilla.
