Obituary



Viktor Manxhari, 84, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Viktor is survived by his wife, Kostandina Manxhari of Worcester; his four sons, Theodhoraq, Arben and his wife Alma, of Holden, Vasil and his wife Entela, of Shrewsbury, Artur and his wife Irena, of Worcester; and his brother, Fore and his wife Dhora, of Worcester. He is also survived by six grandchildren who he loved more than life itself.
Viktor was born on April 14, 1932 in Permët, Albania. After the death of his wife, Violeta, he became a mother and father to his four sons, and moved to Tirana, Albania. In 1994, Viktor moved to Worcester, Massachusetts. He was known as the man who enjoyed daily walks in the park in a suit and tie.
Every holiday and family event, Viktor sat at the head of the dinner table. This Christmas, that chair will be left empty in his honor. He is loved and will be missed dearly.
His funeral is Saturday, December 24th with a service at 9:00 AM in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street (Please go directly to church). Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, December 23rd from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
