Beverly Irene "Bev" McCleery, 86, of Anderson, died December 16, 2016 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
She was born on July 29, 1930 in Summitville, Indiana. She was the oldest of fourteen children born to Omer and Alberta Bloom Hollingsworth. She graduated from Summitville High School and was employed by General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their activities. She enjoyed watching game shows on television, working crossword puzzles, and playing games with her family.
She is survived by a son; Norman (wife Kristie) McCleery of Anderson,daughter in law, Janet Stewart; 6 grandchildren; Jason(wife Joanna) McCleery, Wesley(fiance Amy Roberson)McCleery, Becky (husband Jason) Nottingham, Kelly (husband Kevin) Harris, Amanda (husband David) Vroegindewey, and Jessica McCleery; 12 great grandchildren; 7 siblings, Denny Hollingsworth, Ruth Hummer, Mike Hollingsworth, Leon Hollingsworth, Loretta Dow, Joyce Butcher, and Carol Elsworth; numerous nieces and nephews; stepson, Rick Stamper of Terre Haute.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Thomas Wesley McCleery, 2 sons; Kenneth Lee and David Aaron, and 6 sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 12 Noon at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Bill Mathys officiating. Visitation will be held also on Wednesday, beginning at 10 AM up until the time of the service.
Burial will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be given to Anderson First United Methodist Church.
