New Bedford - Alexander Steven Lucas, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 17, 2005. He was the son of Antone and Linda (Beaulieu) Lucas of Acushnet. Survivors included his daughter Celina Lucas of New Bedford; his sisters: Sarah Lariviere, Cynthia Beaulieu, Beth-Ann, wife of John Rodrigues, Steffanie Lucas, Leya Lucas, and Alicia Lucas; his brothers: Jonathan Lucas and Stephan and his wife Sarah Lucas; his paternal grandfather: Antone Lucas Sr.
Mr. Lucas was formerly employed at Sippican Nursing Home in the dietary department.
Mr. Lucas was born in New Bedford, and has lived in this area all of his life.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 22, 2005 at 10 A.M. at the Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. Burial will follow at Sared Heart Cemetery #2. Visiting hour will be Sunday, August 21, 2005 from 5 – 8 P.M. and prior to the Funeral Mass at 8:45 A.M., at Perry Funeral Home.
