Obituary


Worcester- Helen T. (Wielgoreski) Stolarek, 90, of Worcester, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 18th. Her husband John Joseph Stolarek died in November of 1982. She is survived by a son John J. Stolarek, Jr. and his wife Audrey, two grandchildren, Brenda A. Lockhart and her husband Michael and Keith J. Stolarek and his wife Sue and a great grand child, Zachary Stolarek. She also leaves two brothers Chester J. Wielgoreski and his wife Phyllis and Edward Wielgoreski. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, three god-children and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister Mary Gosk. She was born in Northboro, daughter of Tiofil and Stefania (Gozdzikiewicz) Wielgoreski. Helen worked for many years at the former Table Talk Pie Company. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and a former member of the Women’s Guild of Our Lady of Czestochowa. She was most happy cooking and baking for her family, traveling to Maine and visiting with her family, friends and great grandchild.
The funeral will be held Saturday, August 20, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be at the funeral home on Saturday, August 20, from 9 to 10 am. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Home of Worcester, 26 Harvard Street, Worcester, MA: Attention-Activity Fund
