AUSTIN, Texas -- William K. Wilson Jr., 87, of Austin died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, after a brief illness. He was the widower of Virginia (York) Wilson.
Born in Norristown, Pa., he was the son of the late William K. and Ioelean H. Wilson.
He graduated from Fairhaven High School in Fairhaven, Mass., and Bryant College.
He lived in Mattapoisett, Mass., for 30 years until he moved to Texas.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Wilson worked at Humphrey, Covill & Coleman until he retired in May 1984.
Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Wilson Miller, and her husband, Harold, of Austin; a brother, Robert A. Wilson, and his wife, Mary Jean, of Chelmsford, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
His graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005, in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Bedford, Mass.
Visiting hours at the WILSON CHAPEL, 479 County St. at the corner of Elm St., New Bedford on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
