Melinda Grande, Of Medford formerly of Boston´s North End, passed away August 16th, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic Grande. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Giovanina (DeMarco) and Archangelo Dello Russo.
Mrs. Grande was a devoted homemaker and active parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was also a member of the St. Francis Mothers Club. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, MA 02155.
Mrs. Grande is survived by her son, Donald J. Grande M.D. and his wife Elena of Winchester, and her daughter, Melinda Wahlman and her husband Richard of Medford. She is also survived by her grandchildren, David and Elizabeth Wahlamn both of Medford, Lt. Michael Grande USN and his wife Jolene of TN, Diana, Johnathan and Mark Grande all of Winchester, and great grandson Trevor Grande. She is further survived by her sister Emma Simonetti of Medford and her brother Michael Dello Russo of Las Vegas, NV. Cherished aunt of Lisa Simonetti and Janet Apostolos.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 2 thru 8. Services will conclude with entombment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
