Mrs. Helen Rose (Guilmette) Gaudette, 94, of Lawrence passed Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in St. Damien, Quebec, Canada Mrs. Gaudette had been an area resident most of her life. She was a member of the former St. Anne Parish where she was a member of the PTA, and she worked full time as a baker at Lawrence High School. Mrs. Gaudette loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The widow of Emile J. Gaudette she was also pre-deceased by her daughters; Helen Crimmins and Mary Louise Gaudette, sons Robert and William Gaudette, and sisters Madeleine Bunnell and Arlene Dandurant. Mrs. Gaudette is survived by: four daughters; Mary Ann Gaudette of San Antonio, TX, Arlene and her husband Alfred Torrisi of Methuen, Linda and her husband Leon Valcourt of Methuen, Lisa and her husband Alexe Saidel of Manchester, NH; one son; James Gaudette and his wife Paula of Sandown, NH, one sister; Jeanne and her husband Raymond Poulin, two brothers; Roland Guilmette, and Emile Guilmette. There are 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Monica Church, entombment will follow in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
