Dorothy “Dottie” M. Paquette, 86, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on December 3, 2016, after a year long battle with lung cancer.
Born July 8, 1930 in Lawrence, MA she was the beloved daughter to the late Omer J. Couture and the late Marion (Trepanier). Dottie lived most of her life in Lawrence and Methuen. Dottie worked for Raytheon for 18 years in West Andover until her retirement in 1992.
Survivors include her son David B. Townsend of Methuen and her oldest daughter, Diane M. Foucault, with whom she resided with for the past 24 years. Dottie was predeceased by her eldest son, Donald G. Townsend Jr, her youngest daughter, Doreen M. Malek, her sisters Doris Cardone, Emma Gaumond, Irene Reynolds, Lucille Minassian, and her brothers Omer Couture and Emil Couture. She is also survived by her sister, Fernande Palmer of Methuen, and her brother, Roger Couture, of North Andover, MA. Her family also includes 10 beautiful grandchildren, 9 equally beautiful great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
