Ruth J. (Enos) Meads, wife of the late Francis ‘Honka’ Meads, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 29th. She was 86.
Born in Provincetown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Berrio) Enos. She graduated from Provincetown High School. Ruth enjoyed travelling with her husband and fishing on their boat. She also was an avid reader of romance novels. In later years, she got a great deal of pleasure out of being with her family.
Mrs. Meads was a life-long member of St. Peter the Apostle Parish.
Daughters Linda Farroba and her husband Joe of North Attleboro, Karen Roderick and her husband Keith of Provincetown survive her. She also leaves grandchildren Justine Padula, John Farroba, Jacob Roderick; Scott Martin, Lisa Osowski, Corey Hussey and Erin Milde, as well as seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 64 years, she was predeceased by daughters Gloria Martin and Diane Hussey.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass to be held Saturday, December 17th at 10:00 am in St. Peter the Apostle Church, 11 Prince Street, Provincetown. Burial will follow in St. Peters Cemetery.
