Myrtice Louise McGee, 93, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, went to join her heavenly father, Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Friday, December 2, 2016, at Pinetta Baptist Church in Irwin County. Interment will follow in the Pinetta Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 to 8, at The Paulk Funeral Home, in Ocilla.
Mrs. McGee was born August 30, 1923, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Richard & Donnie Carver Mulkey. Mrs. McGee was a homemaker and she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gainesville.
She is survived by her daughters: Sara M. Calvo of Flowery Branch, Carolyn M. Mahon of Arcadia, Florida; Son: John Bobby McGee of Pine Knot, Kentucky; Son-in-law, Robert Lamon of Gainesville; grandchildren: Laura Herrington & Tony, Scott Tritsch, Bobby McGee, Jeffery Clark, David Mahon, Ricky Mahon, Christina Calvo and Chris Henson; great-grandchildren: Mandi, Kaylee, Brian Robert, Jacob, C.J., Haley and Caleb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George McGee; a daughter, Patricia M. Lamon; a grandson, Brian Mahon; Son-in-law, Robert Mahon, three sisters and two brothers.
