Olga (Perrone) Hansler, 80, died Tuesday, August 16 at the Tobey Hospital in Wareham after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife and friend of Frank M. Hansler. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mrs. Hansler was a homemaker. She also worked as a Master Controller for Rust Craft in Dedham for 15 years and retired from as the Radiology Secretary at the Goddard Hospital in Stoughton for 5 yrs. She also worked at Phillips Machine and was a member of the “S” Club there. She was a former member of the choir at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Many years ago, she was active with the Girl Scouts. Mrs. Hansler enjoyed being a wife and mother. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo, whist and bridge, crocheting, sewing and gardening.
In addition to her husband Frank, she is survived by her children: Frank W. of NH, Scott C. of Stoughton, Gina M. Ash of CT and Cynthia A. Jannerelli of RI. She was the sister of Mary Ugo, Alexander Perrone and Evelyn Yates all of FL and the late Lena Weaver and Francis Perrone. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 19 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:15 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Donations in Olga’s name may be made to the St. Patrick’s Charitable Fund, 82 High St., POB 271, Wareham, 02571. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
