In Wareham, November 25, 2016 David L. Pittsley Jr. passed away in Tobey Hospital following a period of declining health. David was born in Assonet, the son of the late David & Madeline (Haskins) Pittsley. He was a resident of Freetown all his life until moving to Onset in 1990. David was educated in Freetown schools. He worked for KR Rezendes Co. for thirty years as a construction supervisor. David was a member of the Berkley Hound Club, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and his family. David is survived by his two loving sons Lawrence Pittsley and his wife Heidi of East Taunton and Dennis A. Pittsley of East Wareham and his late son David Pittsley III. David leaves his four grandchildren Elizah, Nicole, Emmaline, Dylan and three great grandchildren Kailey, Travis and Cheyenne. He also leaves his sister Phyllis Cambra of Assonet, his former wife Miriam (Lawson) Troy of Wareham and several nieces and nephews. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Friday, December 2nd at 11 am. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 9:30-11 am. Burial will be in the family lot in Assonet Burying Ground Cemetery.
