Catherine E. (Silva) Magnuski, 83, of Tiverton passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Crestwood Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Edmund F. Magnuski.
Mrs. Magnuski was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Medeiros) Silva. She grew up in Little Compton, lived most of her life in Adamsville then later moved to Tiverton. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Mrs. Magnuski loved cooking for and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son: Paul E. Magnuski of Johnston, RI; her 2 daughters: Lisa M. Cappucci and her husband Anthony of Bristol, RI and Victoria F. Magnuski of HI; a brother: Richard Silva of NV; 2 sisters: Joan Berard of Swansea, Nancy Langlais of Westport; 4 grandsons: Paul E. Magnuski, II, Richard Imbeau, Jr., Christopher Imbeau and Stephen Imbeau; a great grandson: Paul E. Magnuski, III; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Joseph, Charles, Raymond, Edmond, George, Alfred and Edward Silva and Hilda Furtado, Alice Weathers, Dorothy Kline, Evelyn Flanagan, Irene Tavares and Shirley Perry.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, November 28, 2016 from the Potter Funeral Home at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Madeline’s Church, Tiverton at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 5-8 P.M.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
