Obituary

SALEM- Grace I. (Jones) Sirois, 92, of Salem, died Monday morning, May 27, 2002 in a local nursing home, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Albert R. Sirois who was a longtime youth director of the Salem YMCA.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Warren F. and Grace E. (Griffen) Jones and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Prior to her retirement in 1971, she was employed at Parker Bros. in Salem for 23 years.

Mrs Sirois is survived by two sons, Ronald L. and his wife Barbara Sirois of Salem, Albert C. Sirois of East Boothbay, Maine, seven grandchildren and their spouses, David Sirois & Ruth Hajer of Salem, MA, Scott & Jennifer Sirois of Belford, NJ, Raymond & Michelle Sirois of Harrison, ME, Jean Marie & Martin Patrizi of Strafford, NH, Stephen Sirois of Miami, FL, Suzanne Sirois & Edward Harmon of East Boothbay, ME, Russell & Kimberly Sirois of Edgecomb, ME, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Warren F. Jones, Jr., Harold S. Jones, Curtis E. Jones Sr., Marion LeBel, Barbara Kanellos and Gladys Punchard.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2002 at 1 pm in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visitation will be Thursday, from Noon to 1 pm, prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
