FRANK E. WILSON, age 60, of Hingham, died on Saturday, August 13th at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a brief illness. Mr. Wilson was born in Weymouth and was a lifelong resident of Hingham, graduating from Hingham High School. For 27 years he worked for the Proctor & Gamble Company in Quincy, retiring 10 years ago.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the Weymouth Eagles, and was an avid motorcyclist who for years owned and rode a Harley-Davidson.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Mann) Murphy Wilson, and children; Frank E. Wilson, Jr. of Falmouth, Jessica A Means of Weymouth, Thomas H. Murphy of Rockland, Michael R. Gill, Geoffrey E. Gill and Emily L. Gill all of Hingham. He also leaves 4 brothers; John A. Wilson, James E. Wilson, Daniel K. Wilson and Peter A. Wilson, 3 sisters; Sally A. Linscott, Jane E. Worrick and Susan E. Howard, and 4 grandsons; Freddy, Justin, Jonathan and Adam.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 17th at 11 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham.
Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
