Obituary

Louis A. Bandera, age 80 of Salem, NH died Saturday at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry.

He was born in Heron, Illinois where he grew up and was educated. He had been a resident of Salem for the past 10 years, formerly of Derry and Pelham.

After his retirement from the US Navy where he worked as Engineer, he worked for the Federal Government. Lou served in WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VWF and the American Legion.

He liked watching the Red Sox & the Patriots. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, shopping, traveling and especially liked vacationing in Aruba.

He was predeceased by his first wife Hazel Bandera.

Daughter: Margaret & her husband Mark Lynch of Westford, MA

Stepdaughters: Noreen & her husband Russell Brochu of Salem, NH
Priscilla & her husband Paul Woodbury of Salem, NH

Stepson: Bob & his wife Ramona Stanley of Salem, NH

Brother: Herman Bandera of Heron, IL

Grandchildren: Paul Lynch, Melissa Rossman, Joseph Milischi, Chelsea Haegle, Caylea Woodbury, Robert Stanley, Casey Stanley

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St. Salem, NH. Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery, Pelham, NH. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
