Pamela Kay Simmons Prentice, 64, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jackie Connell officiating. Ms. Prentice will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends immediately following the service on November 11, 2016, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born February 28, 1952 in Adel, Ms. Prentice was the daughter of the late Claude Simmons and Margaret Drawdy Simmons. She was a paralegal for Reinhardt, Whitley, Summerlin and Pittman PC and of the Baptist faith. She had lived in Tifton for the past 16 years.
Ms. Prentice is survived by two sons, Nathaniel James Prentice and girlfriend, Elizabeth Stone of Tifton and Samuel Paul Prentice and wife, Michelle S. Prentice of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kimberly and Rodney Etheredge of Atlanta and Mary Janice and Ricky Robinson of Santa Rosa, Florida; and three grandchildren, Samantha, William and Sarah Prentice.
